About Me

My photo
I am Jennifer Taylor. I am married to Todd Taylor and I am the mother of the following most awesome children; Jamisen and his wife Torrie, Alexander and Thomas. I also have the cutest grandson in the whole world == Jayden. (Thank you Jay and Torrie) As everyone knows, there is never a dull moment in our lives. I decided it would be easier for everyone, especially me, if I posted a weekly blog to keep everyone up to date!! We'll see how often I actually do that!

2008 For Me == The Accident

Okay it has only been one year since I started this blog to keep people updated weekly. Seven billion things have happened since the last time I wrote. Another Christmas come and gone. A grandson born. Todd has a job - not just a job but the job of a lifetime! An awesome victory in the Courtroom - GO JENN!! Another 50 pounds found instead of lost. Book 4 of the Twilight Series - by far the greatest of all! And last but not least by far the most profound and life changing event for me -- the near fatal automobile accident that me and my Thomas survived (Tom with merely a scratch and some plastic in his hair) and me not quite so lucky but ALIVE!!!

December 24, 2007

I can't believe today is Christmas Eve. It seems so weird to be away from home. We spent most of the day hanging out with Todd's family at his mom's house. It was fun just listening to their old stories and looking at their pictures. I scanned lots of pictures of our wedding that I didn't have and pictures of Todd when he was young. When we got back to the room it was midnight so we decided to do Christmas tonight and sleep in tomorrow. Tom was excited to use his new projector. Tom and Todd are watching "The Simpsons Movie" on the ceiling right now. It is pretty cool! For some reason I feel like such a lousy mother because I am not with my kids for Christmas and we're in a hotel room without a Christmas Tree or anything. It's just kind of strange. I personally think it is one of the better Christmas's I have had in a long time. Not a bunch of money spent on presents and such. . . instead it has been about spending time with the people that we love and haven't seen for a long time. Maybe we should start traveling every Christmas!! Anyway, enough for today. Merry Christmas!

December 23, 2007

Here we go, my very first post. I am sitting here in Chico, California with a terrible head cold. Todd and Thomas are at Carmen's (Todd's cousin) house having dinner. I chose to lounge around in the hotel room and be on vacation today doing whatever I want to do (I've been on the computer all day -- unshowered, coughing, sneezing, runny nose). It's been great. Last night was Todd's family get together at Aunt Evelyn's house. It was AWESOME! I wish that Jay and Alex could have been there. I MISS YOU GUYS REALLY BAD!!!!! Todd had a great time and saw everybody that he had hoped to see. It was great to meet his family and watch the look on his face when he saw people that he hadn't seen for years. The best part for me was that Sharrill and the girls were there. I haven't seen them for ten years and I have missed them so bad!! The girls were absolutely beautiful and hugged me everytime I was by them. I am hoping to see them again on our way home. It has been great to be here with Todd and hear all of his stories about when he was growing up. Thomas has been kind of bored and is looking forward to going to San Francisco tomorrow or the next day. I'm thinking I should maybe go and take a shower and maybe go outside and get some fresh air before the day is over. Jenn
